Self replicating robots become a reality: Scientists develop robot capable of replicating itself. Still dependant on humans, and only programmed to replicate, but opening interesting new ways of thinking. Although this news is no news, one possible application area would be the MNT (molecular
nanotechnology) implications, or long-term space exploration.

The Google suggest Beta is a recent feature from their labs, providing an instant assistance on typed queries. It's a really useful feature especially for long and common queries, saving keystrokes and giving a result overview before even launching the query back to google.

quite recently, google released its google web accelerator, which became fast a target of criticism for its aggressive behaviour. Pre-fetching wrong internet pages, privacy issues and the list goes on an on. Unfortunatelly there's a already a prejudice that everything that comes from google is "good" in nature, and people rush in to get it as soon as it's out. Before they take it off completelly, and disable their GWA download page that still works, ISPs and webmasters worldwide should take these steps to disable the web accelerator from google.
