a google suggest suggestion
The Google suggest Beta is a recent feature from their labs, providing an instant assistance on typed queries. It's a really useful feature especially for long and common queries, saving keystrokes and giving a result overview before even launching the query back to google.
There's however an IE usability issue with it; some will call it a bug. The problem is that once a query is already typed, and one tries to select a word from the typed query, using the keyboad, the entire search box goes blank. It happens with IE 6.0 and does not happen with Firefox as far as I saw. I wrote them and I hope they fix it fast.
Besides this small issue, Google suggest is a wonderful piece of technology, a state of the art Ajax application, another interesting result from the idea hive that google labs is.
