This isn't about debating the $subject, but simple rhetoric. As a search engines relevance check, Google's answer is in lala-land; same is Yahoo's. Both engines seem to be fooled by the presence of "php" in search result URLs. The only search engine that appears to get it is MSN.If you want an answer anyway: Is PHP usage slowing its steady growth? It looks like, according to the PHP Usage Stats page. However the Tiobe index puts PHP on a stable position.
